Prohibited categories
Illegal goods, weapons, explosives, narcotics and items expressly prohibited by applicable law, regulators, aviation or maritime safety rules, actual transport operators or the destination must not be handed over through concealment, false description or undervaluation. This page is not a complete prohibited list for any country or service.
Restricted or specialist-review categories
The following categories are neither automatically accepted nor automatically prohibited. True attributes, route, mode, packaging, documents and current service must be reviewed for each shipment.
Batteries and battery-containing goods
State battery type, contained/packed-with/standalone status, quantity, capacity or power and packaging, and provide required testing or transport documents.
Liquids, powders and magnetized material
Provide composition, use, volume or weight, magnetic properties, packaging and SDS or assessment documents where applicable.
Food, cosmetics, medicines and medical devices
Review composition, use, production or batch information, labelling, permits and destination import or export controls.
Chemicals and dangerous goods
Chemicals are not automatically dangerous goods. Dangerous goods may be assessed only when legal, qualification, classification, packaging, marking, documentation and current-service requirements are all met.
High-value, fragile, temperature-controlled and out-of-gauge cargo
Confirm value, packaging, temperature range, monitoring, per-piece weight and dimensions, handling, insurance or declared-value coverage and handover conditions.
Branded and other regulated goods
Authenticity, authorisation, intellectual-property, inspection, quarantine or other regulatory evidence may be required under applicable rules.
Why review outcomes vary
The same description may receive different outcomes because of composition, quantity, packaging, declared value, origin, destination, airline, ocean carrier, transport operator, border point, mode or specific service. Historical acceptance does not replace this shipment's review, and selecting general cargo is not a compliance conclusion.
Declaration and document preparation
Provide the true cargo description, use, material or composition, pieces, actual weight, dimensions, packaging, declared value, currency, country of origin, shipper and consignee data, and special attributes. Depending on cargo and route, a commercial invoice, packing list, HS code, SDS, test or assessment report, permit, authorisation, certificate of origin or other regulatory document may also be required.
Packaging, labelling and handover conditions
Packaging should suit the cargo, mode and service rules and withstand normal handling. Special cargo may need compliant packaging, dangerous-goods marks, orientation or temperature labels, protective separation and a specified handover method; do not hand over before confirmation.
Review, refusal and handling outcomes
Where documents are incomplete, declarations inaccurate, packaging unsuitable or the current service unavailable, the platform or actual service operator may request more information, change the option, refuse, suspend, return or handle the cargo under applicable law and agreement. Regulators, customs and actual transport operators retain final authority.
