01

Weight and rating basis

Chargeable weight is determined by the specific mode and service rules; a declared weight alone cannot determine the final charge.

Actual weight

The weight obtained by valid physical weighing; verified results after handover may be used for settlement.

Volumetric weight

Calculated from package length × width × height and the service-specific volumetric divisor. Divisors, rounding and units may vary by mode and option.

Chargeable weight

May result from actual weight, volumetric weight, a minimum chargeable unit or another rule; the option should state its basis.

Minimum charge

Some services have a minimum chargeable weight, minimum shipment charge or minimum handling fee, applying only when stated in the option.

02

How charges are composed

A quote should distinguish base freight, handling, surcharges, regulatory and other charges where possible, and identify inclusions, exclusions and items still to be confirmed.

Base freight charge

The charge directly associated with the principal freight service.

Handling charges

May include pickup, loading and unloading, documentation, security screening, booking, port, airport or terminal handling.

Transport surcharges

May include fuel, peak-season, remote-area, residential, overlength, overweight, oversize or special-handling surcharges.

Customs and third-party charges

May include declaration or clearance services, inspection assistance, duties, taxes and government or third-party charges; inclusion must be stated.

Storage, delay and last-mile charges

May include storage, detention, demurrage, waiting time, address correction, redelivery, return or disposal charges arising from actual events.

Coverage-related charges

Insurance premiums or declared-value coverage fees apply only when selected, eligible and confirmed; the two should not be treated as the same service.

03

What to review in a quote

At minimum, review option name and mode, currency, total charge, available breakdown, chargeable weight, estimated transit time and definition, generated time, validity, service scope, cargo and route restrictions, duty and tax status, and items requiring human confirmation. Different currencies may be converted for comparison only with a valid rate source and timestamp.

04

When a new query or review is needed

A new query or human confirmation is required when a quote expires or when cargo description, attributes, pieces, actual weight, dimensions, packaging, declared value, route, address, capacity or schedule, required service or operating conditions change. Market, fuel, currency and third-party charge changes may also affect an unconfirmed quote.

05

Information and charge responsibilities

The customer must provide truthful cargo and service data and review quote conditions. The platform presents and organises business-system data and cannot invent unknown charges. Actual weighing, regulatory decisions and service events may produce adjustments supported by rules or agreement. Applicable law, declaration data and relevant authorities determine duties, taxes and customs outcomes.

!
Important notice

Website quotes compare options under the submitted conditions; they are not a lowest-price, fixed-transit-time or all-inclusive-charge promise. Actual cargo, valid pricing, confirmed charge items, applicable rules and formal business documents govern settlement.
